Also known as the “emerald forest”, the protected area is part of the Vânători Neamț Natural Park. Located between the valleys of the Neamț river (Ozana) and the Nemțișor river at the exit of the village of Lunca, towards Pipirig commune. It has an area of 56.6 ha. Here, we can see secular oak trees over 150-200 years old, which have witnessed the past history. The trees impress not only in size, but also in appearance. The reserve of secular oaks is a special place, which must be protected, in order to enjoy the beauty and diversity of the landscape and flora as long as possible.
